Monitoring a mobile conversion route

Why a visible desktop button can hide a broken mobile landing page journey.

01

Choose a stable selector

Prefer an explicit ID such as #book-demo over a brittle chain of layout classes. The approved selector should identify the action the campaign depends on.

02

Check actionability, not just existence

A matching DOM node can be hidden, disabled, or obstructed. AdsWerk checks visibility and performs a trial actionability check without submitting the action. Link destination prefixes can also be approved.

03

Treat uncertainty honestly

A bot challenge, slow page, or failed viewport observation does not prove the CTA is broken. Review the check’s uncertainty reason and retest when the page is accessible.

04

Give developers a narrow handoff

Share the scoped evidence link. It includes the current baseline and recent observations, and permits a retest without access to other campaigns or permission to change the baseline.

Put the checklist to work.
